Upcoming Changes for Incorporated Societies
You may be aware that changes are coming for all Incorporated Societies with the passing of the Incorporated Societies Act 2022. These changes include societies needing to re-register with a constitution and processes compliant with the new Act.
BNZ, Lane Neave and Sidekick have partnered with the South Canterbury Chamber of Commerce to help you understand what’s changing and to help your society prepare.
Join us on Thursday 27th July for an informative and educational seminar on the Incorporated Societies act changes and what they mean for your society.
We have a panel of experts to speak at the event featuring Peter Orpin, Special Counsel at Lane Neave who will introduce the key changes, what that means for your society and how you can prepare. Peter will then be joined by James Swaney and Jess Hampton from Sidekick to discuss the changes and answer any questions you may have. The event will conclude with a light lunch, refreshments, and an opportunity to network.
