Coaching and Mentoring - June

The ability to effectively mentor others is a tremendous asset for any manager or leader of people. The key to this requires specific skills to establish the gap between where individuals are now and where they want to be, to provide honest and valuable feedback, and to enable others to see challenges in a different way and find answers that they had not considered before.
Supervisors and Managers who learn to use a coaching approach will get better long term results and avoid the pitfall associated with a “command and control” style. Continuing with a “command and control” style will result in greater workloads for the Manager and low levels of staff engagement, poor team culture and low work performance.

His current business, Progressive Solutionz.biz, assists local companies with strategic planning, staff training, implementing safety systems and effective marketing.
