100% Pure NZ Honey: Sean Goodwin

100% Pure New Zealand Honey is a privately-owned company that operates a processing/packing factory in Timaru, supplying premium quality honey to international markets since 1996. With customers in sixteen different countries, the company is constantly challenged to assist in-market partners with local marketing activities and identifying opportunities to develop the honey sector.

Innovation is critical to establishing a point of difference for the 100% Pure New Zealand Honey brand and over recent years the company has launched new products (such as a Honey & Fruit range), services (such as Honeyid™, an on-line traceability tool that allows consumers to check a batch of honey to determine its’ authenticity) and marketing initiatives, including a global supply agreement with NZ Rugby for the marketing of All Blacks® branded honey.

In 2017, 100% Pure New Zealand Honey has continued to look for innovative ways to meet consumer needs. These include the launch of a new internal quality platform that provides consumers with confidence that the honey they are buying is the highest standard available; re-launched website and social media presence focused on enhancing health and wellness communication; and working with the University of Otago on packaging and formulation projects.

With the global market for natural, healthy products continuing to expand, 100% Pure New Zealand Honey is well placed to meet consumer demand and build strong future growth.
