Christmas BA5 - Alpine Energy
Alpine Energy is pleased to host the November BA5 in Alpine House.
Alpine House is the first of its kind to be built in South Canterbury, blending together an open-plan corporate space while meeting the needs of a contracting company.
The building reflects a modern way of producing and delivering energy solutions, bringing to an end staff working across a multi-property site which included portacoms and houses converted into office spaces.
It meets and in many cases exceeds seismic and energy efficiency requirements, with high ceilings and open spaces providing the flexibility for the future but also add a volume of space to promote discussion and connectivity.
As part of the local Pathways Programme, which introduces the next generation to design and trade, 120 Timaru youth visited the build site during construction to learn about future career opportunities in these industries.
A blood drive was recently held in Alpine House with staff from Alpine, NETcon and Infratec as well as from the wider Washdyke industrial area rolling up their sleeves to donate lifesaving blood. Another blood drive is planned for 11 October 2018.
