NZ Chambers of Commerce thank John Key

Prime Minister John Key is to be congratulated on his service to New Zealand. As the leader of the National Party for 10 years, and Prime Minister for eight, he emphasised the importance of business to the economy, and under his leadership the country has enjoyed the fruits of a strong economy despite a sometimes very shaky international economic environment.

New Zealand developed strong free trade agreements and gained a high profile on the international stage thanks largely to his ability to build relationships with other leaders and promote New Zealand as a destination for tourism and for ease of doing business.

The New Zealand Chambers thank Mr Key for his service as Prime Minister, and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
