In April this year, the Government announced an immigration policy designed to provide a one-off pathway to residence for those migrants who have been employed in the South Island for more than five years. This policy, known as the South Island Contribution Work Visa, has attracted a large number of applicants. If you have migrant employees that you think may qualify, please encourage them to visit the Immigration New Zealand website to find out more. This is a limited opportunity, eligible workers must apply for this visa before 23 May 2018.
