Michelle co-owns Pye Group, a large-scale agricultural business operating in multiple sectors, with her husband Leighton. Michelle has been heavily involved in community and industry groups over the last 20 years both locally and nationally. She has previously been a member of the Fonterra Sustainability Advisory Panel and Co-operative Council. Currently Michelle is a Timaru District Councillor, a Director of Potatoes NZ and the Chair of Potato Seed Co-op Ltd.
