Fiona Stevens

Fiona joined the Chamber having previously worked in Stafford Street retail outlets for some 25+ years. Her experience includes involvement with small owner operator enterprises through to all aspects of running a large multi-million-dollar department store -  including extensive knowledge in buying, staff supervision, customer service, and management - evaluating and balancing inquiries to achieve the best possible outcomes.

She believes in promoting good relationships with the community and building business relationships through providing exceptional service.
Fiona has lived in Timaru most of her life and travelling to work, looking out across the bay, thinks how lucky we are to live in such a wonderful place. There are so many opportunities for businesses to establish, be supported, and to grow in this region, and many events and facilities that can attract so much more attention to South Canterbury.

Fiona’s father was a life member of the South Canterbury Chamber of Commerce and she has always followed his ethos that good relationships within business make for a stronger thriving community, and for that to happen “you have to get involved and take people on the journey with you".
