Essential Training for Health and Safety Representatives (Stage 1)

Cost: $170 for ACC funded businesses, $570 for non-ACC funded businesses
This course is approved under Section 19G of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 for training health and safety representatives and offers an alternative to union-based training. Topics include: Introduction to workplace health and safety, employee participation, good faith in practice, functions of health and safety representatives, hazard management, emergency and incident tracking, investigation and reporting.
Who should attend: Recently elected or appointed health and safety representatives, health and safety committee members, others with an interest in or responsibility for workplace health and safety.
